Historical Drill Data

Homeland obtained printed logs of all 92 known historical drill holes in and around the Agelal license area. All have been digitized and entered into the data base. There is no historical drilling within the Asekra block. These drill data have enabled Homeland geologists to create cross sections that highlight sub-basin and mineralization trends, and to generate isopach maps for each of the sedimentary units. This has in turn helped to delineate the location of, and bracket the time within which the sub-basins developed. Uranium deposits are associated with areas of thicker sedimentation derived from uranium-bearing source rocks to the east.
